If you would like assistance carrying your food and equipment to a hut or other backcountry location, ACC portering services are available, summer and winter.

Some typical estimates for portering 50 pounds of your gear are as follows:

• Bow Hut (summer) $210
• Bow Hut - (winter) $225
• Stanley Mitchell Hut (summer) $210
• Elizabeth Parker Hut (winter) $190
• Abbot Hut (summer) $210
• Kain Hut (summer) $130 to $280 (depending on whether the on-site custodian does the portering. If not, a mileage fee is charged).
• Wates-Gibson (summer) $180 to $370 (depending on whether the porter comes from Jasper or Canmore)
• Wates-Gibson (winter) $245 to $430 (depending on whether the porter comes from Jasper or Canmore)

Please note that the per pound prices will drop dramatically if you have between 50 and 150 pounds of gear to be portered. The rates listed above include one-off mileage charges. Up to three porters can share one vehicle, and you will only pay the mileage fees once for up to 150 pounds of gear and three porters.

Some typical estimates for portering 100 pounds of your gear are as follows:

• Bow Hut (summer) $345
• Bow Hut - (winter) $365
• Stanley Mitchell Hut (summer) $340
