Wapta Traverse

Dates & Price
July 16 (eve) – July 23, 2011
Cost per person is $1695 + applicable taxes

Join us for an incredible journey across the Wapta and Waputik Icefields to reach the high point of your summer. The Wapta Traverse is a favourite with Alpine Club members and international travelers for its beautiful views of picturesque peaks and accessible mountaineering objectives.

This fantastic mountaineering traverse is geared for those who would like to learn about glacier travel and summer mountaineering or simply want to visit a place that never disappoints. Accommodation in the Alpine Club of Canada’s Bow, Peyto, Balfour and Scott Duncan Huts will provide you with a comfortable place to unwind at the end of the day. Ascents will be attempted on peaks such as Mts. Rhondda, Thompson, Olive, Gordon, St. Nicholas and Lilliput.

The trip is an annual favourite and never fails to fill up early. Don’t delay on securing your spot on this adventure!
