Sandy Walker

Sandy has been an avid climber and backcountry enthusiast since moving to the mountains from Southern Ontario. An active ACC member she has camp managed numerous National ski and climbing trips including ACC global adventures to Chile, Bolivia, and New Zealand. Her less physical volunteering contributions to the ACC have been spent in Rocky Mountain and Calgary Section Executive positions and she is currently the Vice President of Sections on the ACC’s National Board of Directors. In 2010, Sandy was awarded the ACC’s Distinguished Service Award for her volunteer efforts for the ACC. Sandy has skied and climbed in Australia, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Europe, Iceland, Greenland, Japan, and throughout North America.
