    The following is a suggested list of items to bring with you to the Section Camp. Since everyone is different, it is meant as a suggestion/reminder only. Please remember that you will be restricted to 23kg of dunnage for the flight in so please pack wisely.


    Food
    7 breakfasts, 8 lunches, 7 dinners (packed in boxes, not in coolers) + extra food (just in case!). Make sure at least one person brings a stove & fuel to the staging area just in case flight is cancelled/delayed due to weather and you have to spend the night there.

    Climbing gear
    Headlamp, climbing boots & spare laces, crampons (prefit to boots), day pack, climbing harness, 4 locking carabiners, 2 non-locking carabiners, prussic cord, cordelette for anchors (x2), sling, axe, water bottle, helmet, gaiters, belay device, ice screw, rock shoes, rock rack (not everyone needs to bring one. )
    Optional: hiking poles, snow fluke, tarp

    Camp Gear
    Sleeping bag, thermarest, tent (share with someone else), cup, bowl, knife-fork/spoon
    Optional: bivy sack

    Clothes
    Climbing pants (suggest: schoeller type fabric), underwear, long underwear, socks & spares, climbing shirts, warm layers - Goretex jacket, down jacket, fleece jacket, rain gear - pants and jacket, sunhat/tuque, sunglasses/glacier glasses, spare clothes for camp, bandana

    Toiletries
    Sunscreen for skin & lips, dental care (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss), biodegradable soap, brush or comb, eyecare (contacts, saline, spare contacts, glasses), deodorant, small amount of toilet paper (in case camp supply runs out), ear plugs.

    Other
    Small personal first aid kit (blister kit) and medication/vitamins, small repair kit, spare batteries (headlamp, camera, altimeter, GPS), one pot, stove & fuel per week for staging area, towel, reading/writing material, maps/route information (please share with camp!), camera and film/digital cards, altimeter, gps, compass, spare car keys, tarp

    Do Not Bring: Please do not bring the following items since they will be provided for general camp use: Base Camp - do not bring stoves/fuel, pots & pans, camp chairs, tables, dishwashing equipment
