Vancouver
Island Section:
- Annual Banquet: guest

- Saanich Wildflower brochure:
Brochure(funded by Saanich) and hike for public service outreach in
joint celebration of Saanich Municipality's and ACC's Centennials. April

- The Golden Hinde**: An eight
day strenuous and somewhat technical traverse, with a goal to climb
the Golden Hinde, highest peak on Vancouver Island. 8 participants and
2 leaders. Self catered, self equipped. We also particularly welcome
ACC members from across the country. July 23-30
- Centennial Week in the Mountains**
around the Elk River Valley, July 22-30. ACC members from across Canada
are also welcome on several of these trips, in addition to the 8 day
Traverse.
- Mount Arrowsmith: Initiative to

- Tantalus Range Climbing Camp**:
Climbing in the Tantalus Range (near Squamish), from the Vancouver Section’s
Lake Lovelywater Hut (range of intermediate mountaineering objectives)
and Jim Haberl Hut (expert mountaineering level). Dedication of Jim
Haberl Hut. Vancouver Section invites participants from all Sections.

- Bon Echo Climbing Camp: 100th
ACC Celebration & 50th Anniversary of Climbing at Bon Echo - Camp,
Bon Echo Hut, Bon Echo Provincial Park. Limited space available, 3 days
of activities and meals. Cost- TBA. Reservations accepted until August
1, 2006. Section’s annual ox roast will be incorporated into this
celebration; Dave Brown will be presenting a slide show on Bon Echo
and the new Bon Echo Book official launching. September 2 to 4
- A Guide to Rock Climbs at Bon Echo
(expanded 4th ed.), celebrating 50th anniversary of climbing at Bon
Echo. Large format, hardbound, with photographs, history, anecdotes;

Week-long (family friendly, low cost) rock-climbing camp at

Outaouais Section:
- Photo contest of summits: 100 ans
de leadership et d'aventures en montagne.
Members have been challenged to take the official Centennial Banner
to a new summit and capture a photo of themselves with it on the summit.
The winning photos will be compiled into a poster and/or calender to
be distributed to local sports stores.

- Lake O’Hara Camp: Section
camp at Elizabeth Parker Hut at Lake O'Hara. The Lake O'Hara setting
offers access to some of the finest classic hikes and mountaineering

- Mountain Landscape painting exhibit:
paintings shown by three Section mountaineer artists, paintings shown
by three Section mountaineer artists, representing most of mountain
ranges visited by members since Section foundation. In conjunction with
