The Alpine Club of Canada, in association with Hostelling International, offers an affordable option just minutes from downtown Canmore in the beautiful Canadian Rockies.

Amenities include:

• three separate facilities accommodating up to 54 people in dormitory-style rooms
• several large south facing decks offering the best views in the Bow Valley from Canmore
• sauna, laundry, and internet
  
• a bright and comfortable meeting room with audio/ visual equipment. The meeting room can seat up to 25 people boardroom-style, or 35 people classroom-style
• a spacious, fully equipped kitchen in which you can bring your own food or bring a caterer
• large, bright living rooms with fireplaces

The Alpine Club of Canada’s Canmore Clubhouse is an ideal venue for a wedding, corporate team-building event or conference. Weddings can enjoy exclusive use of the Clubhouse’s kitchen, living room, Heritage Room, Guide’s Room, and guest rooms. The ceremony can take place outdoors or in, and our mountain views and rustic lodge ambience make for a perfect wedding setting. After the ceremony smaller wedding parties can enjoy a seated dinner overlooking the Bow Valley while bigger parties can enjoy a stand-up style reception dinner. The kitchen and patio barbeque are yours to use and you are welcome to hire your own caterer or do your own cooking. We can recommend caterers if you want. After dinner the living room is the perfect venue for dancing and socializing, and when the evening is over, you will find a comfortable bed waiting for you upstairs.

Alternatively, corporate meetings or team building events are a sure success at our Canmore Clubhouse. The Club’s Heritage Room offers a professional but relaxed meeting space while the Guide’s Room and living room offer breakout room options. Wireless internet is also available. The Clubhouse’s sweeping views are sure to inspire your group, and the property’s proximity to downtown Canmore and Banff as well as hiking, scrambling, rock climbing and ice climbing options offer exciting activity options. For those in the group more interested in resort or cross-country skiing or perhaps even a little golf there is the Canmore Nordic Centre, several major championship golf courses, and three alpine ski resorts within a short driving distance of the Clubhouse.    

The Clubhouse is fully licensed and we can custom order beer, wine and spirits for your event. Simply let us know what you would like and we will have it waiting for you upon arrival. We offer the best beer, wine and spirit pricing in the Bow Valley.
