Laurentians Section

Welcome to the Laurentians Section

Created in May 2010, the Laurentians Section primarily offers training and mountain activities in rock and ice climbing, hiking and mountaineering. A francophone section, we are located in the Mt. Tremblant region of Quebec, a premiere region north of Montreal for climbing rock and ice. The section is managed and organised by volunteer members.

We offer courses and activities for all levels. The requirements include a desire to recreate outdoors and a taste for adventure. Activities primarily take place in our region, but also in the Canadian Rockies and the Alps. Annually we organise longer trips to the French and Italian Alps making use of their hut systems. Also, weekend trips are organised in other regions of Quebec (Kamouraska) and United States (Gunks and Adirondacs).

The Laurentians section puts priority on the development of climbing and cliffs in our vast region.
