Newsletter: The Prairie Pitch

Originally formed in 1921, the Saskatchewan Section closed in 1946 and was re-formed in 1995. The Section tries to fill the alpine needs of enthusiasts living hours away from anything remotely vertical. We offer training, a growing trip schedule, a section newsletter ("The Prairie Pitch"), social activities and the companionship of people willing to drive many hours to the mountains, even just for a weekend. We have members that are interested in a full range of outdoor activities from cooking, mountaineering, biking, hiking, rock and ice climbing, and canoeing, to 8000m Himalayan expeditions. Keep up with the Section's activities by visiting our web site, or join our automated mail list. All the details are on our web site which is located at: www.accsask.ca/index.htm or e-mail us at .
