Expedition Endorsement Policy

From time to time, the ACC is requested to provide endorsements for Canadians undertaking international mountaineering expeditions. The following policy outlines the charges that are to be levied for such requests:

1. When a request is received, and the endorsement letter is required 3 or more months after the receipt of the request:
   • ACC Members = no charge
   • Others = $50
     
     
2. When a request is received, and the endorsement letter is required more than 7 days but less than 3 months after the receipt of the request:
   • ACC Members = $25
   • Others = $75
     
     
3. When a request is received, and the endorsement letter is required in 7 days or less after the receipt of the request:
   • ACC Members - $75
   • Others = $125
     
     
4. When an endorsement letter is issued and the recipient requests another letter for any reason (eg. if the recipient misplaces the original letter, or the details of the letter change, etc.)
   • ACC Members = $25
   • Others = $75
