Benoit Waller

Benoit Waller joined the ACC in 2003 and has been an active club member for over 10 years. Since moving to Vancouver 4 years ago he has contributed enormously to the development, implementation and continued delivery of a number of important mountain skills programs as well as leading a large number of section trips. In each of the last 4 years Ben has devoted much of his spare time to help in the development, adaptation, implementation and delivery of three important and very successful section programs: Ski Touring and Glacier Travel Skills, Downhill Ski Techniques for Backcountry Touring and Crevasse Rescue Practice. His skills, experience and organizational capabilities have been an asset to the Vancouver Section. His contributions are of the highest standard and are highly appreciated by section members.

Benoit Waller was awarded the Alpine Club of Canada’s Don Forest Service Award in 2013.
