Nadja Steiner is a very passionate and dedicated leader who has been
taking kids “into the mountains” since 2008 in order to give them the
opportunity to learn a wide range of skills necessary to safely enjoy
rock climbing, wilderness camping, back-country skiing and
mountaineering. Her inclusive and supportive style of leadership has
been pivotal to the success of the Vancouver Island’s Mountaineering For
Kids program which she co-leads with her husband Harry.
Nadja Steiner was awarded the Alpine Club of Canada’s Eric Brooks Leader Award in 2013.
