Montagne d’Argent Hut – Laurentian Section

A Climbers’ Meeting Place

The Montagne d’Argent Hut is located in the Montagne d’Argent Climbing Park just 10 kilometres north of Mont-Tremblant, Quebec.

Twenty minutes from the hut there are three cliffs for rock climbing and some very good ice climbing in the winter.

The hut is a wooden log structure with metal roofing and cladding. There is a large kitchen and comfortable sitting room. There are sleeping bunks for eight people and a separate, private room. The hut is kept locked, but there is an unlocked vestibule for emergency use.

Montagne d’Argent Hut Fact: The hut was built in 1997 by Gaétan Castilloux and many volunteers, all from recycled materials.
