Notice of Slate of Candidates, 2023

The Club bylaws require the ACC Nomination Committee to develop and recommend to the Board of Directors and Club members a slate of candidates for each Board position to be elected. The Committee is responsible for identifying qualified individuals with the requisite competences for each position and for recommending to the voting members applicants that, in the opinion of the Nomination Committee, best meets the criteria and needs of the Board at this time. The Committee has carried out its mandate by reviewing the applications and conducting its own diligence.

The three positions open for election 2023 are VP Access & Environment, VP Facilities and Treasurer. All positions are for a term of three years commencing at the close of the 2023 AGM and ending at the close of the 2026 AGM.

Based on the foregoing, the Nomination Committee has determined that it will put forth the following candidates and make recommendations for candidates as follows:

An election will be held for all positions. Members will cast their votes from April 1 to April 30, 2023. The election results will be communicated to the candidates, the Board of Directors and the members on or before May 13, 2023 and will be presented to the members by the Secretary at the 2023 Annual General Meeting. The successful candidates will assume the positions at the close of business of the 2023 Annual General Meeting.

Conseil d'administration du CAC — Nominations de 2023

Les règlements du Club exigent que le comité de nomination du CAC élabore une liste de candidats pour chaque poste à combler. Le Comité est chargé d'identifier les personnes qualifiées possédant les compétences requises pour chaque poste et de recommander aux membres votants un(e) candidat(e) qui, de l'avis du Comité de nomination, répond le mieux aux critères et aux besoins du Conseil à ce jour. Le Comité a rempli son mandat en examinant les candidatures et en menant sa propre diligence, notamment par le biais d’un entretien avec chacun des candidats(es).

En conclusion de ce travail, le comité de nomination a décidé qu'il présentera les candidats(es) suivants et recommandera les candidats(es) comme suit :

Une élection sera tenue pour tous les postes. Les membres voteront du 1er avril au 30 avril 2023. Les résultats de l'élection vous seront communiqués, ainsi qu'au conseil d'administration et aux membres, au plus tard le 13 mai 2023, et seront présentés aux membres par le secrétaire lors de l'assemblée générale annuelle ce même jour. Les candidats retenus prendront leurs fonctions à la clôture de l'assemblée générale annuelle du 13 mai 2023.
