How to Book

Hut Bookings are Available Online

ACC Members may make reservations up to 6 months in advance. To access this benefit, please LOG IN to your membership account and follow the prompts. If you are not an active member, you may SIGN-UP to join a community of alpine enthusiasts.

Hut Booking Window

  • NEW! Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance by ACC members and up to 90 days in advance by non-members. ACC membership must be active at the time of the hut booking.
  • NEW! All persons included in hut bookings made more than three months in advance must be active members of the ACC at the time of the booking. Reservations can not be made by or for non-members as part of a booking party more than three months in advance.
  • If you make a reservation 180 days in advance, you may call our guest services team to extend the reservation up to a total of 5 nights.  
  • ACC membership is open to everyone and memberships may be purchased for any parties at the time of a hut reservation.
  • ACC huts in BC Provincial Parks (Kokanee Glacier Cabin, Conrad Kain Hut, Elk Lakes Cabin, Silver Spray Cabin, Woodbury Cabin) may be booked by ACC members and non-members up to six months in advance.

Memberships

Reservations must accurately reflect the party composition and membership status of each individual in the reservation.

You will be asked to complete guest details during the reservation process. You will need guest name, membership ID and membership expiry date for every ACC member in your party.

A reservation will not be confirmed until the ACC has audited the reservation to confirm membership status and group composition. If the reservation details do not reflect accurate member status, the reservation may be cancelled.

PAYMENTS

Full payment for all hut reservations is required at time of booking.

CHANGES

  • Dates and huts are non-transferrable. Changes to any bookings are treated the same as a cancellation and follow the same terms and conditions.

CANCELLATIONS

  • Cancellations made more than 15 days prior to first night’s stay will be refunded 50% of the reservation fee. Refunds made to a credit card will be subject to a 2.4% credit card processing fee.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days prior to the first night’s stay will not be refunded.
  • Credits and/or deferrals will not be considered for any cancellation for any reason whatsoever.
  • The ACC does not refund or discount any booking(s) due to weather, hazardous conditions, delay, area or trail closures, or any other reasons beyond our control.

PLUS POLICY (NEW!)

  • For $20 per person/per night, the Alpine Club cancellation protection allows guests to cancel their reservation 2 days (48 hours) before first night of stay and receive a 75% refund. A 2.4% credit card processing fee will be applied to the balance of any refund.  Must be purchased at the time of booking. Cancellations made less than 2 days before the date of travel are not eligible for any refunds. (does not apply to ski weeks).
