ACC Section Huts

The ACC maintains a wide variety of family-friendly huts in alpine meadows, backcountry powder paradises, remote climbers’ refuges and everything in between. You can browse all of our Section Huts below.

ACC Section Huts

Section huts are booked through the Section – please contact your local sections for section hut bookings.

Modern 12-person mountaineering hut in the Tantalus Range near Squamish, BC. Accessed by 12-hour hike or helicopter from Squamish.

Mountaineering Hut on Lake Lovely Water in the Tantalus Range near Squamish, BC. Also used to access the Jim Haberl Hut.

16-person ski touring hut in the Marriott Basin north of Whistler, BC. Access is a 2-3 hour ski.

Pronounced “Hi-SHIM-ya-wit”, this hut provides access to extensive summer alpine hiking and challenging winter skiing in the heart of Vancouver Island.

Day hut and cook shelter for the nearby climbers’ campground on Mazinaw Lake, 300 km NE of Toronto. Boat access. Used by rock climbers.

Located in the Adirondack Forest Preserve State Park in New York State. Used as a base for hiking, skiing and rock climbing.
